Oh, no!!! Damnit compression!!!!

well.. what you see here, is the blood of my heart, spilled on a piece of paper!!! Spend 3 whole days on this one!!! and I MEAN three days.. something like 20 hours in all. (And yes, I know, that some of the better artists use a lot more time on portratis, but I'm really not used to it! And my days are pretty booked at the time.. so had to cancell a lot to make it.. and haven't made any homeworks this week..)
Well.. I saw some extremely good portraits in here, and especially some of Captain Jack Sparrow ^^ which I choose to try and draw.
I think it came out pretty good... I have never made anything so detailed before, and I was really challenging myself, when I decided to also draw the hair and bandana (and of course I fucked both things totally up... )
It was first when I was done, that I noticed a lot of small flaws.. for example, the chin should have been more narrow, and the nose is shaddowed all wrong.. and the damn dreadlocks almost killed me.. I got really lazy in the end, and then just made some dots and lines...

But.. It's still the BEST THING I'VE EVER MADE! and I'm really proud of it! - even though there's some mistakes in it...

I used:
- Derwent sketching pencils (HB, 4B, 7B and 9B)
- Hard and soft eraser
- And I drawed it on 120 g/m2 A4 paper
